The basement had water stains and moisture damage, and the homeowner knew that it was time to find a lasting solution. After giving Cleveland Basement Systems a call, our crew went in and installed a waterproofing system complete with the WaterGuard Drainage System, as well as the TripleSafe Sump Pump. These major components work together by keeping all water out of the basement, right where it belongs! 

A landlord in Cleveland, OH needed to fix a leaky basement for their tenants. Water had leaked behind part of the drywall and under the flooring. Installers at Cleveland Basement Systems installed CleanSpace and WaterGuard to remedy these moisture problems. CleanSpace is a 20mil thick, antimicrobial material that is tightly fastened to the basement wall. CleanSpace will prevent mold growth and move water into the perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard is the catch-all drainage channel that lays even to the floor. This allows water seepage to be caught and emptied out into a sump pump from the walls and floor. The before picture shows how installers prepped the wet basement for CleanSpace and WaterGuard. Part of the damaged drywall was removed and a channel was dug so that WaterGuard would fit along the perimeter. The after shows how WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter flooring and CleanSpace is secured to the walls. 

This homeowner knew there were problems going on in her basement. It was always wet and a horizontal crack had formed across one of the walls. We stabilized the basement with a CarbonArmor. These stronger than steel straps adhere to the wall and the ArmorLock brackets are secured to the floor joists in order to secure the foundation wall. We waterproofed the space by installing a WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, SuperSump Sump Pump, and IceGuard attachment. 

This basement is now secured and protected from water, permanently!
