CleanSpace is a 20mil thick, antimicrobial material that is tightly fastened to the basement wall. CleanSpace will prevent mold growth and move water into the perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard is the catch-all drainage channel that lays even to the floor. This allows water seepage to be caught and emptied out into a sump pump from the walls and floor. The before picture shows how installers prepped the wet basement for CleanSpace and WaterGuard. Part of the damaged drywall was removed and a channel was dug so that WaterGuard would fit along the perimeter. The after shows how WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter flooring and CleanSpace is secured to the walls.
