This musty, dirty and humid crawlspace needed some help. Moisture not only affects the basement but can also reach the rest of the house and cause bigger issues like mold, wood rot and pests. We installed the CleanSpace Crawlspace Encapsulation system and it transformed this crawlspace into a clean-looking, dry and insulated space. 

A section of a home in Westlake, OH was shifting and sinking into the soil. This was causing serious structural issues to the home that needed to be fixed as soon as possible. Cleveland Basement Systems came in and installed helical piers along the outside foundation. Helical piers are made of galvanized steel that are bedded into strong soil deep below the earth. A steel foundation bracket is connected to the helical piers and then attached to the home's footing. The foundation crew then lifted the home back towards it's original position! Helical piers permanently stabilize a moving foundation and can be adjusted as the years go by. 

We repaired this once leaky basement by installing our full waterproofing system. The CleanSpace wall covering is a mold resistant, 100% waterproof barrier. The WaterGuard is a no-clog perforated pipe that will guide any water into the sump pump. The TripleSafe is a unique three-pump system with 1/2, 1/3 HP and battery backup pumps to work in any circumstance. 

This customer constantly fought water leakage in the basement with dehumidifiers, fans and towels. We repaired the root issue by installing a new battery back up sump pump as well as the WaterGuard perimeter drainage channel that would lead the water into the sump. Now this customer can rest easy knowing their water seepage issue is fixed! 

We fixed this wet, moldy and dirty crawl space by encapsulating it with CleanSpace. This bright, clean vapor barrier isolates the home from the humid earth floor while preventing water damage to the area.
