Bowing Walls
When you look closer at the top of this foundation wall, you can see a horizontal crack spanning the width of the wall. The foundation was bowing out at that point pretty significantly.
Stair-Step Cracking and Water Damage
Stair-step cracking is a tell tale sign of foundation movement. The peeling paint at the bottom of the wall is also a sign that water has intruded the space over time.
